As the mod's quality is quite high, let us hope the team manages to address all the current issues and make it available for download again. I'm confused why didn't they just use Oblivion's animations, like in Fallout 3.

The Fallout The Frontier mod introduces a new map of Portland Oregon, new gameplay mechanics, fully voiced experience, and more. I simply can't stand the melee animations in New Vegas, where my character instead of using each weapon relatively properly just flails his arm around in comically wide arcs and random directions. The items in question are deeply disturbing to the entire team, and we condemn them in the strongest sense.
